On 20 August 2014, 3i Group plc (the "Company") was notified that on 20 August 2014 Alan Giddins, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, acquired for nil cost 47,715 ordinary shares of 73 19/22p each in the Company ("Shares") on the exercise of a share award and sold 22,506 of these shares at 382.5p per share to cover tax and National Insurance.
The place of the above transaction was the London Stock Exchange.
