U.S. stocks dipped on Wednesday, as uncertainty prevailed on Wall Street after
the release of two sets of jobs data and a report that said President-elect
Donald Trump was mulling a national economic emergency declaration.  .N 
    
At 10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.44% at
42,339.48. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.36% at 5,887.82, and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.35% at 19,422.36.
