Launch of Accsys Sustainability Plan

 

"Accsys Cares" to build long-term value for all stakeholders

 

Accsys, the world's leading supplier of premium, high performance and
sustainable wood building materials, is pleased to announce the launch of its
first comprehensive Sustainability Plan, "Accsys Cares", marking a significant
milestone in the Group's commitment to building long-term sustainable value.

 

This plan sets out ambitious new targets, including a commitment to Net Zero
for Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions by 2050 and mid- and short-term
decarbonisation targets. It builds on the Group's ongoing work to understand
and reduce its environmental footprint.

 

"Accsys Cares" is the result of a rigorous double materiality assessment,
engaging both internal and external stakeholders, including customers,
partners and investors, to identify the sustainability issues that matter
most. After a thorough analysis of impacts, risks, and opportunities, the
Group identified eight material topics, grouped under four strategic pillars:
Planet, People, Profit, and Governance.

 

The new targets within the plan are fully aligned with the FOCUS strategy and
require no additional investment to achieve the mid- and short-term goals.

 

Accsys is already recognised as a leader in sustainability, ranking in the top
20% of its industry sector for ESG performance according to the S&P
Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). Our products help the world build
more sustainably, capturing carbon and delivering exceptional durability.

 

Accsys will report on its progress in the annual report, ensuring transparency
and accountability as it continues to lead the way in sustainable innovation.
