Jan 5 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1125 GMT on
Thursday:
    ** Chinese conglomerate Fosun International Ltd  0656.HK 
will completely exit its stake in four separate firms for a
combined 6.7 billion yuan ($974.74 million) to prop up its
general working capital, the debt-laden company said.
    ** Capricorn Energy  CNE.L   rejected a plan by its third
largest shareholder to scrap a proposed merger with NewMed
Energy  NWMDp.TA , saying its was based on false information.
    ** Edison's  EDNn.MI  chief executive said  that rumors
French power group EDF  EDF.PA  plans to sell its Italian arm
are "groundless".
    ** Holcim  HOLN.S  said it will buy Chrono Chape, a French
independent provider of on-site self-leveling screeds.

    ** Memory chip maker Western Digital Corp  WDC.O  and
Japan's Kioxia Holdings Corp have restarted merger talks,
Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources familiar
with the matter.

    ** The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has
filed a limited objection to Binance.US' proposed $1 billion
acquisition of bankrupt cryptocurrency lender Voyager Digital, a
bankruptcy court filing showed on Wednesday.

    ** Payments technology provider ACI Worldwide Inc  ACIW.O 
is in talks with private equity firms for a potential sale of
the company, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people
familiar with the matter.

    ** Dignity Plc  DTY.L  said on Wednesday it is in advanced
talks with a consortium comprising investment firms SPWOne V Ltd
and Castelnau Group Ltd  CGL.L  after receiving unsolicited
