Posting of circular and Notice of General Meeting
 
Active Energy, the London quoted international biomass based renewable energy and forestry management business, announces, further to the announcements made on 1 February 2021 and 2 February 2021 by the Company, that it has posted a circular to Shareholders (the "Circular") setting out details of the Fundraising and CLN Restructuring, along with a notice of general meeting of the Company, to be held at 10:00 a.m. on 19 February 2021 (the "General Meeting"). 
 
In accordance with recent Government legislation and related restrictions in response to Covid-19, and to minimise public health risks, the General Meeting is to be held as a closed meeting with the minimum number of Shareholders legally required to be present. The General Meeting will be held electronically and members and their proxies will not be able to attend the meeting in person. As such, members are strongly encouraged to appoint the Chairman of the General Meeting to act as their proxy as any other named person will not be permitted to attend the meeting. Voting at the General Meeting will take place on a poll.
