Statement re Close Brothers announcement

 

Active Energy, the international biomass based renewable energy business,
announces that it has come to the Company's attention that, on 21 July 2022,
Close Asset Management Limited ("Close") released a public Opening Position
Disclosure announcement regarding its holding in Active Energy shares under
RNS number 3451T (the "Announcement"). The Company has today been informed by
Close that this Announcement was released in error.

 

The Directors of Active Energy confirm that the Company is not in an offer
period (as defined by the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers), nor is it currently
in discussions with any party regarding any possible offer for the Company's
ordinary shares.
