** Shares of Australia's Activeport Group ATV.AX rise 26.1% to A$0.029, their highest level since October 8, 2024

** The network automation software firm launches a network-to-network interconnect (NNI) service in Singapore, meant to enable telecom providers to connect across third-party carrier networks

** Telecom firms will use ATV's software and APIs to automate the creation of virtual circuits between carriers

** ATV looks to generate recurring revenue by charging a port fee based on data volume, and a monthly fee for each virtual circuit provisioned on the NNI service

** Around 71.2 million shares change hands, 4.4x the 30-day avg volume of about 16.3 million

** YTD, stock up 74.8%
