** Co says it has paused enrollment of new patients in a
mid-stage study evaluating its drug Zynlonta in combination with
rituximab for treating a type of blood cancer, citing safety
concerns
** Says the Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) signaled
potentially excessive respiratory-related events in patients
with previously untreated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL),
a cancer that starts in the white blood cells
** The treatment resulted in adverse events including seven
fatal events, six of which were individually assessed as
unlikely or unrelated to study drug, company says
** Company says it does not expect to report additional data
from the trial by the end of the year
** Up to last close, stock down ~38% YTD
