** Shares of Australia's Aeris Resources  AIS.AX  rise as
much as 6.8% to A$0.235, their biggest intraday gain since July
4
    ** The copper-gold miner says its quarterly copper
production rose to 6.7 kilotons (kt) from 5.9 kt in the March
qtr    
    ** Posts gold production of 14.3 thousand ounces (koz) in
June qtr vs 12.7 koz in March qtr
    ** Records 42.6 koz of silver production in June qtr as
compared to 37.3 koz in March qtr
    ** 1.7 mln shares change hands as of 0235 GMT, vs 30-day
average volume of 2.9 mln shares
    ** AIS stock up 51.7% YTD as of last close
