Australia's Aeris Resources hits 2-week low on lower copper production

** Shares of copper-gold explorer Aeris Resources  AIS.AX 
slip as much as 7.7% to A$0.180, their lowest since Oct. 9 
    ** Co says copper equivalent production for the September
quarter fell to 12,900 metric tonnes (mt) from 13,100 mt in the
June quarter 
    ** Says quarterly gold produced 15,200 ounces vs 16,500
ounces in the previous quarter 
    ** Shares post their biggest intraday pct loss since Oct. 12
    ** More than 1 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of ~1.7 mln shares  
    ** Stock down 65.5% this year, as of last close, vs a 2%
decrease in the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
