Gold-copper miner Aeris hits over 3-year low on Jaguar mine decision

** Shares of Aeris Resources  AIS.AX  fall as much as 20.4%
to A$0.24, their lowest since June 29, 2020    
    ** The gold-copper miner said on Wednesday it decided to
place Jaguar mine in care and maintenance, effective from
September 
    ** Co guided group copper equivalent production of 40kt -
50kt, with minimal contribution from Jaguar, down from 51.5kt
    ** Shares of company closed down about 29% at A$0.27 
    ** About 14.2 million shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 2.3 million shares 
    ** Four of five analysts rate the stock "buy" or higher, one
 as "hold"; their median PT is A$0.90 – Refinitiv data
    ** Stock down 52.21% pct this year, as of last close
