U.S. stock index futures slipped on Tuesday as hopes for early interest rate
cuts from the Federal Reserve waned, while investors geared up for quarterly
earnings from U.S. retail giants including Walmart.  .N 
    
    At 7:13 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.30% at 38,582. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.27% at 5,006.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were down
0.40% at 17,672.75.
