** Shares of AIC Mines A1M.AX jump 4.9% to A$0.588; on track for best day since April 8

** Co reports quarterly copper sales of 3,280t y/y, up from 2,314t; gold sold amounts to 1,623t, higher than 1,039t a year earlier

** Lowers all-in sustaining costs to A$4.18/lb sold in March-ended quarter from A$5.49/lb a year ago

** Stock down 0.4% YTD, including current moves
