U.S. stock index futures were slightly higher on Tuesday ahead of the consumer
prices data, which will provide the last crucial reading on inflation in the run
up to a near-certain interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve next week. .N 

At 7:03 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.22 percent at 25,263. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.21 percent at 2,789.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up
0.12 percent at 7,147.75.
