** Shares of Alankit  ALAK.NS  rise about 4%, set to snap a
six-session losing run
    ** Protean eGov Technologies  PROO.BO  down about 1%
    ** E-governance services provider Alankit settles dispute
with Protean eGov, with the latter to pay it 380.6 mln rupees
($4.5 mln)
    ** ALAK has risen roughly 14% YTD, while PROO has jumped
about 66.5%
