** Shanghai-listed stock of the Chinese biotechnology group 603259.SS gains 2.2% to 99.16 yuan, the highest point since June 5
** WuXi AppTec sued the U.S. government on Thursday over its inclusion on a list of Chinese businesses that the U.S. Department of Defense has linked to that country's military. The lawsuit seeks WuXi's removal from the list
** WuXi's lawsuit came three days after the Pentagon expanded its blacklist to 188 companies, with Alibaba 9988.HK, Baidu 9888.HK, BYD 1211.HK and NIO 9866.HK among them
** Hong Kong shares of Alibaba, Baidu, BYD, and NIO up 2.1%, 1.6%, 1.7%, and 0.3% respectively
** YTD, WuXi Hong Kong stock up 27.5%, Shanghai-listed stock up 8.7%, while Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSBIO down 12.8%
