** American West Metals Ltd  AW1.AX  is on track to see its
best day ever after shares jump as much as 77.8% to A$0.240 
    ** Stock touches the highest since June 8
    ** Miner announces results for the diamond drilling program
at the Storm Copper Project on Somerset Island, Nunavut, Canada 
    ** Says first assays for drilling in the current program
have returned copper grades over very significant thicknesses
    ** Adds further assays for Storm are pending with more
results expected in the coming days
    ** Stock is 70.4% up this month 
    ** Shares are up 8% YTD as of last close
