Australia's American West jumps on new copper system finds in Canada

** Shares of American West Metals  AW1.AX  jump as much as
13.8% to A$0.165, their highest since Sept 21
    ** The minerals explorer says initial assay results from a
drill hole ST22-10 in co's Storm copper project in Canada
confirmed copper and zinc sulphide mineralisation  
    ** Co says results indicate larger sedimentary copper
deposit at depth in the region
    ** AW1 stock up 16% this year, as of last close
