** Shares of AmorePacific Corp  090430.KS  plunge after the
cosmetics company says its Q2 operating profit falls nearly 40%
from a year ago
    ** Shares fall as much as 6% to their lowest since May 2014,
while those of Amorepacific Group  002790.KS  also slip more
than 2% 
    ** AmorePacific Corp's Q2 operating profit stands at 87.8
billion won ($74.28 million) vs 145.8 billion won a year earlier
