** Shares of telecom equipment firm CommScope Holding COMM.O surge 26.9% to over 2-mth high of $6.16 on Weds after Q4 results top analysts' expectations

** COMM on course for biggest one-day pct gain since Aug 8

** North Carolina-based network infrastructure provider early Weds posted sales of $1.17 bln, up ~27% y/y, compared to LSEG estimate of $1.11 bln

** Adj EPS of 18 cents beat consensus by 15 cents

** Co said net sales increased across all regions, except the Caribbean and Latin America region in the qtr, while sales in U.S. grew ~30% y/y to $776 mln

** On Jan 31, co completed previously announced sale of the outdoor wireless networks and distributed antenna systems units to Amphenol APH.N

** In Dec, co inked new refinancing agreements with a group of existing lenders, including Apollo APO.N, to push out its 2025 debt maturities to 2029 and 2031
