** Shares of Australia's Amplitude Energy AEL.AX rise as much as 7.8% to A$1.795, their highest level since April 17

** Stock marks its biggest intraday pct gain since April 23

** The gas producer says it has received production licence that covers the Annie field in Australia

** Says all gas produced from Annie project to be supplied into the east coast domestic market for Australian consumers, with first gas planned in 2028

** Despite moves, stock down 42.8% YTD
