Profile Summary
Amplitude Energy Ltd, formerly Cooper Energy Limited, is an exploration and production company. The Company is engaged in supplying gas to south-east Australia and low-cost Cooper Basin oil production. It holds a portfolio of gas supply contracts and an extensive portfolio of gas-focused acreage and assets, including well located reserves and resources in the Otway and Gippsland basins. These include the Sole gas field in the Gippsland Basin, the Casino Henry operations in the offshore Otway Basin and undeveloped resources such as Annie and Manta. The Gippsland Basin in South-east Australia is about 200 kilometers (kms) east of Melbourne. It covers 46 000 square kilometers (km2). The Otway Basin is approximately 500 kilometers long and covers a 155,000 km2 area from Cape Jaffa in South Australia to north-west Tasmania. It also holds non-operating interests in onshore South Australia oil production licenses and exploration leases in the western flank area of the Cooper/Eromanga Basin.
