Close Price

The Close Price is the price at which the security closed on the previous trading day. We update this figure after the day’s trading closes to reflect the current day’s close price.

Stockopedia explains Close

The Close Price is the last traded price on each trading day. Many investors will submit trades to execute ‘At the Close’. Some investors will compare the close price with the next days’ open price in order to find ‘gaps’ up or down - a popular technical trading signal.
