Sept 12 (Reuters) -    ** Shares of Anax Metals Ltd
 ANX.AX  jump as much as 7.7% to A$0.07; eyeing best session
since Sept. 6, if gains hold
    ** Minerals explorer says indicated resources for Salt Creek
deposit at its Whim Creek project in Western Australia increased

    ** Says updated Salt Creek resource estimate showed 35,700
tonnes contained copper, up by 99%, and 95,000 tonnes contained
zinc, up by 22% 
    ** Around 647,366 shares change hands, vs the 30-day average

    ** Stock has fallen 21.7% this year, as of last close
