Chile's Collahuasi copper mine names new CEO SANTIAGO, June 3 (Reuters) - Chile's Collahuasi copper mine, one of the largest in the world, named Patricio Hidalgo as its new CEO starting July 1, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Hidalgo will be replacing Jorge Gomez. Collahuasi is jointly owned by Anglo American AAL.L and Glencore GLEN.L, each holding 44% of the company.
A group of Japanese companies headed by Mitsui & Co. Ltd. 8031.T owns the remaining 12%.
