DELIVERY OF17th ATR 72 AIRCRAFT
The Directors of Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP), the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, announce that the Company has taken delivery of a new ATR 72 aircraft from the factory and leased it to Australian airline Virgin Australia Regional Airlines.
This aircraft is the11thdelivery of the ATR 72-600 variant aircraft to be delivered to date. In total Avation has now taken delivery of17ATR 72 type aircraft.
Commenting today, Jeff Chatfield, Chairman of Avation, said: "The delivery of this additional brand new aircraft is in line with the steady implementation ofthe Company'sgrowth strategy, the aircraft was commercially financed and is leased for ten years. Thisnew aircraftjoins the Company's expanding portfolio of modern, efficient aircraft and from delivery onward willcontribute positively to the continuing growth of the Company's revenues."
