Apollomics rises on positive preliminary data from cancer therapy study

** Shares of drug developer Apollomics Inc  APLM.O  more
than double to 35 cents premarket
    ** Co announces positive preliminary data from its mid-stage
study testing its experimental cancer therapy vebreltinib
    ** Co says the therapy showed a 43% objective response rate
(ORR) in 14 cancer patients with a type of solid tumor called
non-CNS MET fusion
    ** ORR is the proportion of patients whose tumor reduced in
size over a predefined amount of time
    ** Based on these new data, APLM is evaluating opportunities
for further development of vebreltinib in patients with MET
fusion tumors
    ** Co is developing vebreltinib as single-agent cancer
therapy in a variety of tumor types
    ** Stock down 83.6% YTD till last close
