Pre close Trading Update
Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC ("Arbuthnot" or "the Group") today issues a pre close trading update ahead of its final results announcement for the year ended 31 December 2017 which is scheduled for 28 March 2018.
The Group continued to trade well in the fourth quarter of 2017 and as a result anticipates reporting full year 2017 pre-tax profits in line with market expectations.
As previously announced, the Group continues to explore opportunities to develop new businesses organically, thereby diversifying its sources of income, and the Group will update on progress of these initiatives in the final results. The launch of such new businesses in 2018 will be supported by certain upfront investment, such as the hiring of additional teams.
