Delay in Publication of 2020 Annual Report
The Company announces that there will be a delay in the publication of the Company's audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2020 ("Annual Report").
The delay is occasioned at the request of the Company and its auditors, PKF Littlejohn LLP, to reflect the additional time needed to complete the audit given the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated travel restrictions and delays in fulfilling audit requests as a result of the finance function operating remotely.
Accordingly, the Company has requested and received an extension to its filing deadline for its Annual Report from 30 September 2020 to 31 December 2020.
The Company is pleased to report that the maiden diamond drilling programme at the Fwiji Target is continuing as planned and that the 2,500 soil samples from the Zamsort and Zaco license areas that were recently sent for assay are being processed and results are expected shortly. The Company's cash position at the end of September 2020 was £1.25m after mobilisation and other payments incurred over recent months in order to progress the current work programme.
