Legal Settlement Update

 

The Company is pleased to announce an update on the settlement of the legal
cases in Zambia and in the UK as first announced on 18 February 2022.

 

All of the requisite consent judgements have now been obtained in conclusion
of the Zambian High Court proceedings and, similarly, a Tomlin order has been
executed by the parties referred to in the announcement of 18 February 2022,
in relation to the UK court proceedings. A Tomlin order causes any court
action in the UK to be suspended.

 

Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) Disclosure

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of
the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 as it forms part of UK domestic law
by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 ("MAR"), and is
disclosed in accordance with the Company's obligations under Article 17 of
