Wall Street's main indexes edged up on Friday as traders boosted bets on an interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve next month following remarks from policymakers, while technology shares steadied after a bruising selloff in the previous session. .N

At  10:31 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.55% at 46,001.88. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.15% at 6,548.28, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.29% at 22,012.90.
