U.S. stock indexes rose in choppy trading on Monday as investors weighed a
possible pause in interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve in March and risks
of a contagion from Silicon Valley Bank's (SVB) collapse.  .N 
    
    At 13:38 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.23% at
31,984.15. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.35% at 3,875.02 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.94% at 11,243.603.
