Wall Street's main indexes rose on Tuesday after more upbeat earnings reports
from some of the country's top lenders boosted the banking index to its highest
since a crisis rattled the sector earlier this year.  .N

34,883.85. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.52% at 4,546.23 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.60% at 14,329.865.
