Update on Stonepark Zinc Project, Limerick, Ireland

 

Arkle Resources (ARK:AIM) is pleased to provide an update on exploration on
its Stonepark project in Limerick. The project consists of 5 licences held in
a joint venture, owned 22.36% by Arkle and 77.64% Group Eleven Resources Corp.
("Group Eleven"), and is operated by Group Eleven. In 2024, three holes were
drilled by Group Eleven in the Carrickittle West area of the Stonepark
licences (G11-450-04, G11-449-03 and G11-2531-02).

 

The most significant target to emerge is the Kilteely prospect, a large
breccia body, the bulk of which is on Stonepark ground. The results suggest
that they are close to stronger mineralization. Further drilling is indicated
and will be undertaken.

 

Hole G11-450-04 was planned to test the north side of the Kilteely fault but
intersected the south side. The hole intersected fine grained dolomite similar
to Ballywire the Group Eleven discovery to the south and black matrix breccias
which host zinc and lead mineralisation at Pallas Green and Lisheen.

Hole G11-449-03 a hole drilled 315m from previous drilling, was to test the
Coonagh Castle Fault. It intersected dolomitized Waulsortian Limestone,
similar to that at Ballywire and a 35m zone of calcite also similar to that at
Ballywire. These results indicate intense hydrothermal fluid flows and close
proximity to a major fault warranting follow up drilling.

Hole G11-2531-02 contained extensive zones of pyritic brecciation similar to
the black matrix breccias in the 5 million tonnes Stonepark discovery.

One hole will be drilled by Group Eleven later in 2025 with further drilling
planned for 2026. Arkle has the option to fund its share of future drilling on
the Stonepark licence area or dilute its interest in the project.

John Teeling, Chairman, commented: "The recent drilling has strengthened the
view that the Kilteely anomaly, mainly on the Carrickittle West Stonepark
licence is a highly prospective target for base metals. In the words of Bart
Jaworski, the CEO of Group Eleven". "Carrickittle West continues to be one the
best drill targets in Ireland. Being within only six kilometres away from the
45 million tonnes and 5 million tonnes of mineralisation from Glencore's
Pallas Green and our Stonepark deposits, respectively, this prospect has a
real chance at hosting the southern half 'mirror-image' of the mineralising
system operating at the northern side of the Limerick Volcanic Complex.
Today's drill results demonstrate the presence of key attributes -
brecciation, faulting, hydrothermal fluids and significant pyrite. The fact
we're also starting to pick up sphalerite locally in some of the drilling
suggests we may be getting close to the high-grade. We look forward to
follow-up drilling."
