** Gold and copper explorer gets commitments to raise A$4
mln ($2.6 mln) at an issue price of A$0.007 - a 36.4% discount
to last close
** Fund will be used for drilling at co's Karratha Gold
Project in Western Australia
** About 6.9 mln shares traded, ~3.4x the 30-day avg
** Stock down 52.6% YTD
