Diageo to sell East African Breweries stake for $2.3 billion

Dec 17 (Reuters) - Diageo DGE.L said on Wednesday it would sell its 65% shareholding in East African Breweries EABL.NR to Japan's Asahi Holdings 2502.T for proceeds of about $2.3 billion.
