Aston Martin issued another profit warning on Friday. The British luxury carmaker expects an adjusted operating loss slightly below the lower end of market consensus. Analysts have projected a loss of between $187 million to around $247 million. The firm also made big moves to boost finances after a difficult year. It said it will sell the rights to use its name on the Aston Martin Formula 1 team. He claimed the naming rights deal with AMR GP Holdings will "enhance the group's liquidity position." AMR GP operates its Formula 1 racing team. Aston Martin, best known as James Bond's car of choice, has tried to shore up capital all year. That included Chairman Lawrence Stroll putting $162 million into the firm. The automaker faces tariff pressures and weak demand in North America and China. It cut back its spending on making new vehicles in October. The firm blamed what it called "extremely subdued" Chinese demand and wider sector pressures in the UK. Shares were down 4% on Friday after the announcements before scaling back. Aston Martin is due to release its annual results next week.
