Australia's Aurizon slips on FY24 results missing analyst estimates

** Shares of Aurizon Holdings  AZJ.AX  fall as much as 5.8%
to A$3.410, hitting their lowest level since Nov. 1, 2023
    ** Stock currently down 5.1%
    ** Rail freight operator reports FY24 EBITDA of A$1.62
bln($1.07 bln), missing Visible Alpha consensus estimates of
A$1.64 bln, according to analysts at Citi
    ** Citi says FY24 group EBIT at A$917 mln was 4% lower than
Visible Alpha consensus of A$948 mln
    ** However, co announced on-market buyback of up to A$150
mln
    ** Stock has fallen 11.3% this year as of last close
