Aurizon Holdings Ltd is an Australia-based company that operates a rail-based transport business. The Company’s segments include Coal, Bulk and Network. Its coal transport operation links domestic customers and coal export terminals to mines in the Newlands, Goonyella, Blackwater, Moura and West Moreton systems in Queensland and the Hunter Valley. This includes the Ulan and Gunnedah coal systems, in New South Wales. Its Bulk business supports a range of customers nationally for bulk materials and commodities, agricultural products and mining and industrial inputs. Network segment includes the business of Aurizon Network Pty Ltd, which operates the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN). The open access network is a coal rail network in Australia and connects multiple customers from more than 40 mines to five export terminals located at three ports. The CQCN includes four coal systems: Moura, Blackwater, Goonyella and Newlands and a connecting link, Goonyella to Abbot Point Expansion.
