Australia's New Hope falls after denying report on deal to buy Aurizon unit

** Shares of Australia's New Hope Corporation  NHC.AX  fall
as much as 6.7% to A$6.5, their lowest since Oct 5
    ** The coal miner says it was not a part of a consortium
with private-equity firms ,which according to a report was
bidding for Aurizon's  AZJ.AX  East Coast Rail business

since Sept 26, but have gained 221.1% this year
    ** Aurizon shares up as much as 1.4% on Wednesday
