Australia's Austal hits near 1-yr high on vessel delivery

** Shares of Austal  ASB.AX  rise as much as 1.2% to A$2.58,
their highest level since July 21, 2023
    ** Global shipbuilder and defence prime contractor says
Austal Australia has delivered the 20th Guardian-class Patrol
Boat (GCPB) to the Australian Department of Defence
    ** Says the delivery highlights the productivity of the
Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement Project which was awarded to
Austal Australia in 2016 and has 24 vessels under the project
    ** Stock has risen 25.62% this year, as of last close
