    ECONOMY
    Bank of Italy releases December data on public finances,
state borrowing and debt.
    COMPANIES
    TELECOM ITALIA  TLIT.MI  (TIM)
    The group's core profit fell a touch less than feared last
year, helped by lower costs and some signs of improvement in its
battered domestic business in the fourth quarter, the former
Italian phone monopoly said on Tuesday.
    Conference call with analysts (1000 GMT) and online news
conference (1300 GMT) on FY results and 2023-2025 industrial
plan update.
    ENEL  ENEI.MI 
    A sale of Enel's Romanian assets is moving "in the right
direction" and it expects a deal before the end of June, the
chief executive of the Italian power utility said on Tuesday.
    MEDIOBANCA  MDBI.MI , ANIMA HOLDING  ANIM.MI  
    A financial investor which is not already a shareholder in
Anima Holding has tasked Mediobanca with buying a stake of up to
9% in the Italian asset manager, the investment bank said on
Tuesday.
    AZIMUT HOLDING  AZMT.MI 
    Timone Fiduciaria, the top shareholder in the Italian asset
manager and an investment vehicle owned by thousands of Azimut
managers and financial advisers, said on Tuesday it would sell
an around 0.9% stake in the company to repay a loan.
    UNICREDIT  CRDI.MI 
    Italy's No.2 bank is exploring strategic options for its
merchant acquiring business though evaluations are very
preliminary and may not lead to any decision, a person close to
the matter said, confirming a Bloomberg report. CEO Andrea Orcel
has said UniCredit would study other possible partnerships for
its businesses.

    Board member Bai Xinping will step down as of Feb. 22 due to
the assumption of new professional responsibilities at Sinochem
Group, the tyremaker said on Tuesday. 
    ACEA  ACE.MI  
    The company said on Tuesday its Chairwoman Michaela Castelli
had resigned effective immediately citing personal reasons.
    FERRARI  RACE.MI 
    Ferrari will make marginal changes to their Formula One race
team but anything more substantial can wait until after the
opening rounds of the season, new boss Fred Vasseur said on
Tuesday.
