    DEBT
    Italy's Treasury said on Thursday it would sell up to 5 bln
euros in short-term BTP and inflation-linked BTP bonds on July
25.
    Treasury announces sale of 6-month BOT bills, with relative
amounts to be auctioned on July 26.
    
    COMPANIES
    BANKS, PAYMENTS FIRMS
    Italian Antitrust body has given a green light to a deal
negotiated by retailers, banks and payment firms to soften fees
on small card transactions as demanded by the government,
according to sources and documents seen by Reuters.

MEDIOLANUM  BMED.MI  
    As of July 20 Silvio Berlusconi's heirs have not accepted
the inheritance, Italy's market watchdog Consob said in a
statement on Thursday.

    The drugmaker signed on Thursday a deal with British GSK
 GSK.L  for the distribution of Avodart and Combodart in Europe
for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of benign
prostatic hyperplasia.

    The tyremaker said on Thursday it had moved up the release
of its second-quarter results to July 27 from August 3.   
    
    AUTOGRILL  AGL.MI 
    Second of two-day suspension from negotiation ahead of
de-listing on July 24.
    
    COVER 50  COV.MI 
    Fine Mito ends full mandatory takeover offer on Cover 50
ordinary shares.
