Italy - Factors to watch on May 19

The following factors could affect Italian markets on Friday.

    POLITICS
    Italy's central bank said on Thursday government plans to
set up a single income tax band and reduce the tax burden may
prove unrealistic because of fiscal restraints and the amount
the state has to spend on its extensive welfare system.
    
    COMPANIES
    FTSE MIB  .FTMIB 
    Ex-Dividend trade will take between 1.25%-1.3% off Italy's
blue chip index FTSE MIB on Monday, according to traders'
calculations.
    
    AUTOGRILL  AGL.MI 
    Swiss duty-free retailer Dufry  DUFN.S  has secured
Autogrill shares accounting for around 87% of the Italian
company's capital at the end of the exchange offer, Reuters
calculations based on bourse data showed on Thursday.

    Fashion group Brunello Cucinelli could claim a spot in the
FTSE MIB index of leading Italian shares at the expense of
energy group ERG in a review at the end of the month, according
to two traders.
