Executive Appointment

 

Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP, Avation or "the Company"), the commercial passenger
aircraft leasing company, announces the appointment of Mr Andrew Hiscock
as Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect.

 

Mr Hiscock brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience,
with sector expertise spanning aviation, aerospace, defence, and construction.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London
during the 1990s, where he developed a strong technical foundation in audit
across industry and commerce sectors, prior to joining GlaxoSmithKline in a
series of commercial financial management and control roles.

 

In the early 2000s, Mr Hiscock was appointed Finance Director of
NetJets Europe during a period of significant growth, contributing to the
company's consolidation as the market leader in European private aviation. He
later served as Chief Financial Officer of Hybrid Air Vehicles, an
aerospace and defence company focused on the development of unmanned air
vehicle technology.

 

Since relocating to Singapore in 2013, Mr Hiscock has held senior regional
financial leadership responsibilities for ISG plc, overseeing operations
across Asia and the Middle East. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Economics and Statistics from the University of Exeter and is a member of
the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
