UK insurer Aviva's annual profit jumps about 25%

March 5 (Reuters) - British insurer Aviva AV.L posted a 24.6% jump in annual profit on Thursday, helped by its combination with peer Direct Line and sustained growth in its general insurance premiums. Its operating profit for the year ended December 31, 2025, came in at 2.2 billion pounds ($2.93 billion), up from 1.77 billion pounds reported a year ago.
