Nov 13 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.03%.
* FLUTTER: Flutter FLTRF.L, the world's largest online betting company, sharply cut its full-year profit growth forecast on Wednesday, primarily due to another long winning streak by gamblers that increased its payouts.
* BP: BP BP.L is in active negotiations with investment firm Stonepeak over the sale of its Castrol lubricants unit, according to two people with knowledge of the situation, in what would be a major step in meeting the energy company's $20 billion divestment goal.
* OIL: Oil prices edged lower on Thursday, extending losses from the previous session, after a report showing rising crude inventories in the U.S. reinforced concerns that the global supply is more than sufficient to meet current fuel demand.
* COPPER: Shanghai copper rose on Thursday as investors welcomed the likely end of the U.S. government shutdown, easing market uncertainty, though gains were capped by expectations of weak Chinese bank lending ahead of key economic data releases.
* GOLD: Gold eased from a more than three-week high on Thursday as the dollar strengthened, while investors were awaiting the resumption of U.S. economic data to gauge the Federal Reserve interest rate path.
* FTSE 100: London's FTSE 100 logged a third consecutive record close, supported by gains in utilities and mining shares as investors welcomed signs of a potential end to the prolonged U.S. government shutdown.
