** Stock hits its highest level since November 10

** AZ9 has gained 10.7% so far this week, set to snap five consecutive weeks of losses and record best week since the week ended October 10

** UK-based critical battery mineral explorer says drilling confirms thick and high-grade copper and gold at Maikhan Uul project in Mongolia

** About 2.7 million shares change hands, 1.2x the 30-day average volume

** Stock has fallen 35.4% this year, including the day's moves
