Board Changes

 

The Board of B.P. Marsh & Partners Plc, the specialist investor in
early-stage financial services businesses (AIM: BPM), is pleased to announce
the following changes to its Board of Directors with immediate effect.

 

Brian Marsh OBE

 

Brian Peter Marsh OBE, founder and Non-executive Chairman of B.P. Marsh &
Partners Plc, has stepped down from the Board following 35 years of
distinguished service. Brian founded the Company in 1990 and served as
Executive Chairman from 1990 to 2025. He has been instrumental in building
B.P. Marsh into the business it is today.

 

The Board and management team would like to pay tribute to Brian Marsh's
remarkable contribution to B.P. Marsh & Partners. As founder and Chairman,
Brian's leadership and dedication have shaped the business. His passion for
supporting and nurturing early-stage financial services businesses has defined
the Company's culture and ethos. In recognition of his extraordinary
contribution to the Group, the Board has appointed Brian Life President. In
this role Brian will continue to act as an ambassador for the business he has
built, supporting colleagues and portfolio companies with the benefit of his
considerable experience.

 

Rebecca Shelley - appointment as Independent Non-Executive Chair

 

The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Ann Shelley as
Independent Non-Executive Chair and member of the Remuneration Committee,
Audit Committee and Nominations Committee with effect from 26 May 2026.
Rebecca Shelley, aged 60, is an experienced Chair and Senior Independent
Director with a strong track record across listed and private companies in
financial services, insurance and consumer sectors. She currently serves as
Chair of Sabre Insurance Group plc and is Senior Independent Director of
Conduit Holdings Limited. She is also a Senior Independent Director on the
board of Liontrust Asset Management PLC and a non-executive Director at Hilton
Food Group plc, where she chairs the Sustainability and Remuneration
Committees. Across her portfolio she has chaired or served on remuneration,
audit & risk, nomination and sustainability committees. The Board believes
Rebecca's appointment as Chair will provide strong independent leadership as
the Company continues to execute on its growth strategy.

 

Barrie Cornes - appointment as Independent Non-Executive Director

 

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Barrie James Cornes
as an Independent Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration
Committee, Audit Committee and Nominations Committee with effect from 26 May
2026. Barrie Cornes, aged 63, has more than 40 years' experience in the
insurance sector. Barrie was formerly Managing Director and Head of Research
at Panmure Gordon, where he specialised as an insurance analyst. Earlier in
his career, Barrie held senior insurance underwriter and investor relations
roles, including at Jardine Lloyd Thompson PLC and RSA Insurance Group. The
Board considers that Barrie Cornes' extensive experience and established
relationships within the insurance sector will be a valuable asset to the
Group.

to be disclosed under Rule 17 or Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules
for Companies.

63, and over the five years preceding the date of her appointment, are as
