   Transaction in Own Shares

   Babcock International Group PLC (the Company) announces today it has purchased
   the following number of its ordinary shares of 60 pence each through Jefferies
   International Limited.

   The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

   Since 24 July 2025, the Company has purchased 7,944,899 shares at a cost of
   £88,669,936.16.

   Following the above transaction, the Company holds 6,141,939 of its ordinary
   shares in treasury and has 499,454,658 ordinary shares in issue (excluding
   treasury shares).
